Campaign Story

Hello All,

We are Mark and Amber Fugman. We have been happily together for 7 years and married for 2. Even early in our relationship when we started dating, we would always talk about how one day we would love to have children. Once we got married, we were ready to expand our family and start our next chapter in life. After trying to conceive naturally for over a year and a half without success, we decided to see our doctor. We met with multiple fertility specialists and underwent numerous tests, took certain medications, and made sure we were eating a healthy diet and staying active. Months later our doctor informed us that unfortunately, our only option to conceive a child is through In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). We were crushed and hopeless. It’s been extremely stressful on our minds, bodies, and our relationship.
Though we had always one day wanted to start a family, IVF is so expensive. The average cost is $20,000 per cycle, and like most insurance companies ours does not cover the cost of IVF. We do have savings and are both fully employed and insured, however, the costs for this treatment are currently beyond our means. We are wanting to move forward as soon as possible due to our chances of conceiving a child with IVF being very high.
