Campaign Story

Hello, we’re the Gallagher’s! We’ve been married for four years and we live in Owatonna, MN with our 2 cats and 2 crazy pups. We’ve always desired to conceive naturally but found out in 2021 that this wasn’t going to come easy for us. After a series of tests and many tears, we were directed to a fertility specialist and began this process right at the beginning of 2022. After being told IVF was our only option began to do preliminary tests. As is the case with so many others our insurance covered very little of the preliminary testing and will cover none of the medications required. Therefore when we were told we had to not only pay off our current bills but for the entire procedure as well the shock of suddenly needing $24,000 before we could even begin the process was difficult to swallow. Unfortunately we were not prepared for this cost.

We are hoping to try our first round of IVF soon.
We are asking our family and friends to consider donating to cover the cost of this first transfer, storage of our frozen embryos. The cost of this journey is not only a financial burden but also a physical and emotional one. Please keep us in your prayers as we begin this next step in our journey. -Ryan & Alisha
