Campaign Story

Hello Everyone….

The inability to conceive can be very stressful & emotional, for any women/couples going through this tough Infertility journey.
My name is Shaylah Gaither 29 years old,  currently A School Crossing Guard For the school district of Philadelphia. My husband’s name is Michael Gaither.  We’re From Philadelphia,Pa. We met through a mutual Friend, in 2018. We Begin dating. 2 months later we Began our lives together.

The last past 4 years for us has been very ROUGH for us. In 2019  (1 year of dating) my husband was in a very bad Car accident. He was in a coma for 20 days. I felt like my whole world was ending before my eyes. The accident caused him to lose his eye. It took 2 years of physical therapy, 4 doctors appointments a week, having to be monitored every second, but he made a full recovery.  Just As we’re getting our Live’s back on track & started trying to conceive to start our family (6 months later) My Oldest brother got Shot & Killed….. I just knew i wouldn’t never have a family. So again we had to put our TTC on pause to be there for my mom, little sister & my brother. We got married January 2024 (The best day of my whole life marrying my best friend)

2 weeks before we’re set to get married i had an appointment with my fertility doc. (ZOOM VISIT) I was diagnosed with PCOS & ADENOMYOSIS. I was Devastated, Heartbroken, & Knew that i wouldn’t never experience being a Mother or Preganacy. I cried so hard on my husband shoulder. 1 week later i get a bill in the mail from Penn Fertility clinic, i cried $1,230.74 our insurance doesn’t cover ANY FERTILITY TREATMENTS OR DIAGNOSES…. I gave up after that, just started to try to figure out ways to cope with never having children. I really just want one baby. i wanted to have children my whole life. It would make my marriage complete.

PCOS Is A Common Hormonal disorder causing enlarged ovaries with small cysts on the outer edge. PCOS affect 5-10% of woman. The Cause of PCOS isnt well understood, but may involve a combination of genetic and environmental factors. No known cure.

PLEASE ANY DONATION 1$ 3$ 5$ WOULD HELP US BECOME FIRST TIME PARENTS.      NOTHING’S TO BIG,           NOTHING’S TO SMALL…. ANY DONATION WILL HELP. & WE’RE TRULY GRATEFUL, THANKFUL & KEEPING FAITH…… GOD BLESS YOU ALL.    THANK YOU

Thank you for your support, Prayers!                      LOVE: THE GAITHER’S
