Campaign Story
I was diagnosed with PCOS at the age of 13. PCOS is short for polycystic ovarian syndrome. It is a common condition related to hormones in which the ovaries don’t always release an egg at the end of the menstrual cycle (cycles stopped for me at a young age). I was later on diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and unexplained infertility after years of tests and trials. David and I did two rounds of IUI, and an additional three medicated rounds in the past two years..with no luck. During the first IUI we discovered that David (my husband), also struggles with infertility! So, IVF was recommended and we plan on doing our first round in early 2024 by traveling to Colorado.
With the financial burden of IVF, we are asking for donations for the upcoming holidays and birthdays instead of gifts.
Anything will help us conceive our little miracle. Thank you for your time!
