Hi friends and family! Let me tell you a little bit about our fertility story. I have DOR and undiagnosed Endometriosis. DOR is diminished ovarian reserve and most likely caused by not only age, but Endometriosis as well. Endometriosis is a disorder in which tissue that lines the uterus grows outside the uterus. It can be found on the ovaries, Fallopian tubes and other parts of the body causing pain and infertility. Endometriosis on the ovaries can affect egg quality and diminished reserve. It affects 11% of women in America between 15 and 44. My husband Rob and I have tried to get pregnant for the past 5 years, but, DOR, Endometriosis, autoimmune disease and age have made this journey extremely difficult emotionally and financially. However, we still look optimistically towards our future and feel there is still hope for our miracle to parenthood as we navigate IVF treatment. We have faith and believe our family is not complete yet! We are asking for your support in this journey by donating to our fundraiser. The financial burden of IVF treatment and medication is great as we have done this twice with 30k already invested in this process from our own savings. IVF is a marathon, not a race that takes a few treatment cycles to have a miracle baby. We would be honored if you could support us in this dream of having children.
