We’ve spent 15 years loving each other.. and still praying for the one thing we don’t have..a child to call our own. This is the hardest thing we’ve ever had to ask. My name is Lucero and my wife’s name is Leilani.

Hello… we’ve gone back and forth so many times about even doing this.

Asking for help is not easy for us. It comes with a lot of pride, a lot of fear, and a lot of vulnerability. But this dream means everything to us, and we’ve reached a point where staying silent hurts more than speaking up.

We are a married lesbian couple who have spent 15 years loving each other, growing together, and building a life side by side. Through every high and every hardship, one dream has never left us… to have a baby… to become mothers… to create a family that’s a reflection of the love we’ve carried for so long.

We’ve tried to do this on our ow. We saved what we could, made sacrifices, and put our needs aside over and over again..but life kept getting in the way. Bills, responsibilities, and financial hardships slowly turned our dream into something that feels out of reach…and that’s been one of the most heartbreaking things we’ve had to face.

Now, being in our mid-thirties, time feels heavy. Its no longer something we can ignore. There’s a quiet ache we carry everyday.. the fear that if we wait any longer, this dream might never come true. The thought of never hearing a child call us “mom”.. never holding our baby in our arms.. Its a pain that’s hard to even put in to words.

This is why we are here.

We’re asking.. humbly, vulnerably, and with full hearts.. if anyone is willing to help us in any way. No amount is too small. Even just sharing our story means more than you could ever know. Every act of kindness gives us a little more hope to hold onto.

We don’t take this lightly, and we will never take your support for granted.
