Campaign Story

My name is Brittany and my husbands name is Jay. I am a Kindergarten Teacher and Jay is a Commercial Fertilizer Spreader Truck Driver. We have been married for 5 years. As of this month, we have been trying to have a baby for 65 months. We spent many months (prior to Covid) taking fertility medications, tests, and surgeries to help us get pregnant or find out why we are unable to get pregnant. It was determined that I have PCOS, but none of the treatments and medications we tried were ever successful in helping us get pregnant. I will be turning 30 years old this year and my husband will be turning 35 years old. With our age creeping up, we are turning to fertility specialist as our last hope in having a baby. We’ve been advised that IVF will be the only likely option we have for us to bring a baby into the world. So, with that being said, like most insurance companies, our insurance company does not consider having a baby a “necessity” and will not cover the expenses. Therefore, we are here.. trying to raise money to help us make our dream of becoming parents a reality.
