Campaign Story

Hi, we’re Kelsie and Mikey—both 28 years old, and we’ve been together since high school. We’ve grown up side by side, building a life filled with love, laughter, and dreams for the future—especially the dream of becoming parents.

For the past nine years, we’ve been on a journey that has tested our patience, our strength, and our faith—but never our love or our hope of becoming parents.

What we thought would be a simple chapter of life turned into years of waiting, heartbreak, and unanswered questions. Through it all, we’ve leaned on each other, grown stronger together, and held onto the dream of one day hearing the words “mom” and “dad.”

We are so lucky to have incredible nieces and nephews who we love with our whole hearts. Being part of their lives has brought us so much joy and has only deepened our desire to grow our own family.

Along the way, we also opened our hearts to adoption. We truly believed that was how our story would unfold, but sadly, we experienced the loss of those babies unexpectedly. That heartbreak is something we carry with us, but it hasn’t taken away our hope—it’s only strengthened it.

After much thought, prayer, and guidance, we are ready to take the next step in our journey: IVF. This path gives us hope—but it also comes with a significant financial burden that we cannot carry alone.
