Campaign Story

Hi, we’re Josh and Heather—and together with our sweet Milo, it’s just the three of us. From the moment Josh and I met, we fell instantly in love. Milo was the beautiful bonus to our love story, and being his bonus mom has been one of the greatest joys of my life.

From the time I was a little girl, I dreamt of becoming a mom. Over the years, that dream has only grown stronger—not just for me, but for us as a family. More than anything, I dream of giving Milo the gift of a sibling and completing our family.

Our fertility journey began in February 2024. After taking a break to focus on our wedding, we sought out fertility help in May 2025. Since then, we’ve walked some of the hardest roads together. We tried two rounds of IUI, both ending in heartbreak. In August, we began our first round of IVF, where three eggs were retrieved. We lost two along the way, and the one embryo we were holding onto with so much hope came back genetically abnormal. Just like that, all three embryos were gone.

It broke our hearts. Truly, it felt like the ground had been pulled from beneath us. And yet—our dream of becoming parents together hasn’t faded. If anything, it’s only become stronger.

The hardest part is that I’ve now exhausted all of my lifetime insurance coverage for fertility treatments. What this means is that every step forward—the chance to try again, to transfer an embryo, to bring our baby home—comes with costs we simply cannot meet alone.

That’s why we’re here, humbly asking for help. Your support will go directly toward the expenses of our next egg retrieval and transfer.
