Campaign Story

My name is Nicole, I am a stage 3 cervical cancer survivor who has prayed non-stop to bring a new baby into our family!

My husband, Kevin, and I have been in love for ten years and married for almost five years. We have always valued family over everything, it runs deep in our cores and our traditions. Family is at the heart of everything we do and each decision we make.

At the end of 2022 we were excited about trying to add a sweet new member to our family. We knew our family was not complete and could feel deeply in our hearts that there was a special baby waiting for us. When we looked into the future, we envisioned family game nights filled with laughter, afternoons running around our yard, our children building sandcastles at the beach and our children gathered around our table sharing the details of their day over dinner. As parents, we aspire to cultivate a legacy of love, acceptance, security, and support and to create a nurturing environment that celebrates our children’s passions.

Unfortunately, in early 2023 our world was turned upside down with a devastating diagnosis of stage-three cervical cancer, which came as a shock since I had always been diligent with health screenings. Our dreams of growing our family were abruptly replaced by a grueling regimen of surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation. The emotional turmoil was overwhelming, shattering our hearts. After a difficult battle focusing on treatment and healing, I emerged cancer-free! We are immensely thankful for this blessing! Yet, the remnants of my battle have rendered me without the natural means to bear a child.

Still deeply desiring to grow our family, we began the journey towards surrogacy, hopeful that this path will fulfill our dream of family completeness. This new chapter, filled with potential and joy, has reignited a light in our lives after a dark chapter.

Fulfilling our dream of welcoming a new baby into our family in 2025 is everything to us. We have saved as much as we can, however, we cannot afford it on our own.
