Campaign Story

My name is Maureen Walker and I am a 42 year old single woman who wants to adopt. I am a Christian and believe it is on my heart from The Lord as well. I want to thank you so much for taking the time to read my Fundraiser.
Adoption is something that has been near and dear to my heart for many years. I lost twins in 2006 and have carried the longing and desire for motherhood since then. But also realize the NEED for good godly parents these days! Ideally a Husband would be Perfect in this journey! Yet I am believing if The Lord wills this it will be!
Countless children are placed into orphanages and foster homes daily, as well on the streets daily. I may not have a husband helping me but God can and will provide if he sees fit!!
And just maybe my step towards adoption can help encourage another to step forward. We have a need for Good wholesome godly parents.
Many children need homes. And may I be one of them.
Not only am I am eager to help a child receive nurturing care and discipleship in a Christ centered home, but I am eager to learn more about being a Christian Mother..  With Gods help and grace I will be able to continue in this.
