Campaign Story

Hi everyone,

My name is Alisha and I’m a speech pathologist and a single woman with a big dream—to become a mom.

For the past 8 years, I’ve been on an emotional, physical, and financial rollercoaster navigating infertility. I’ve dedicated my life to helping others find their voice, and now I’m finally using mine to ask for help.

Becoming a mother has always been my dream. I decided not to wait for the “perfect time” or the “perfect relationship” to start my family—I knew I had the love, strength, and support to do this on my own. But the journey has been so much harder than I ever imagined.

Over the years, I’ve gone through:

  • Laparoscopies, Hysteroscopies and Endometriosis excision surgery
  • Multiple IUIs (intrauterine inseminations)
  • Egg retrieval and multiple frozen embryo transfers (FETs)
  • Countless injections, blood draws, and emotional ups and downs
  • Embryo adoption

Each treatment has come with hope—and heartbreak. Each failed cycle has been a punch to the gut. And while I’ve held on to my dream through every setback, the financial burden is growing heavier than I can carry alone.

That’s why I’m here. I’m asking for help to continue my fertility treatments and take the next steps toward becoming a mom. I currently have 6 adopted frozen embryos. The funds raised will go directly toward covering the high costs of IVF procedures, medications, storage fees, and potential future transfers.

If you’ve ever known someone who has struggled with infertility, or if you believe that every person who’s ready to love a child deserves a chance at parenthood—I hope you’ll consider supporting or sharing my story.

This journey has taught me so much about resilience, hope, and the quiet power of not giving up. With your help, I can keep moving forward. I’m not giving up on this dream—and I would be so grateful to have you beside me.

Thank you for reading, supporting, and sharing. Every little bit truly means the world. 💛

With love and hope,
Alisha
