Hi there! My name is Almar, and I’m happily married to my amazing husband Christian for the past 5 years. However, we can’t help but feel a sense of incompleteness without a child in our lives. We’ve been trying to get pregnant for about 2 years now.

During this journey, we discovered that I have a unique condition called Unicornate Uterus. This rare congenital anomaly means that I have half a uterus and only one functioning fallopian tube, rather than the typical full uterus. It was quite a journey to reach this diagnosis, involving multiple visits to different kinds of specialists. Through various tests and procedures, we were finally able to confirm that my condition makes it difficult for us to bear a child. While this news was very sad and unexpected, it also gave us hope. We realized that we might need a different approach to fulfill our dream of becoming parents.

After extensive consultations, we have come to the realization that our last and best chance of conceiving lies through IVF. IVF has been recommended as the most viable option for our specific circumstances. However, the financial burden of IVF is substantial. The high cost associated with the procedure is overwhelming. Me and my husband have been working extra jobs and hours and we have exhausted our savings. We are unable to continually bear this expense alone to overcome the challenges we face.

Despite the difficulties we’ve encountered, the love and support we share as a couple has only grown stronger. We believe that with perseverance and the right opportunities, our family will be complete one day.
