Hello, my name is Amanda. When I was a child, I fought and won an excruciating battle against cancer, a victory that gave me my life back but it came with a profound cost—the ability to have children naturally. My fiancé and I have dreamed of becoming parents for as long as we can remember, and we’ve held onto that hope through years of trying and heartbreaking disappointment.

Recently, we received a glimmer of light we never thought possible. Our doctors believe that, with the help of an egg donor, I may still be able to carry a pregnancy. After everything we’ve been through, hearing that there is a real chance for us to have a baby was an overwhelming and joyful moment. It felt like a door we thought was locked forever had been gently cracked open.

The challenge we now face is that the cost of our egg donation cycle is approximately $55,000. After trying our last cycle, our savings were depleted, and the financial hurdle feels almost as daunting as the medical ones we’ve already overcome. We are doing everything we can, but we cannot do this alone.
