Campaign Story

As many of you know, we’ve been together for 9 years.
For those who don’t know us, we are Ashton (36), Carolin (33) and Leo (7).
We are an active military family stationed in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
Ashton has served in the Army for 18 years, with multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.
I, Carolin, work in a Christian non-profit day care center before and after school.
We enjoy our life together very much but would like to complete our family in the background.
For the past 3 years we have struggled with unexplained infertility.
Those years were very difficult for us.
After working with several doctors and many different treatments to have another child, we were unsuccessful.
When we started this journey, we knew this was going to be a tough road, but we never imagined it would be as difficult as it was.
Years of fertility meds, 5 rounds of failed IUIs and 3 miscarriages, the one thing we want more than anything – to complete our family – seems so far out of reach. It’s extremely hard not to feel like a failure. We are left with unknown answers, broken hearts, and an empty basket.
Still, we’re not ready to give up our dream of one day bringing home another miracle. We have such a strong passion and desire not only to bring life into this world, but to give this child the best life possible

We take the next step -IVF-
Unfortunately, IVF is very expensive. Medication and all parts of the process are not covered by insurance.
The financial burden that comes with IVF has added stress to a seemingly unbearable situation. This has affected us both mentally, physically, and emotionally. Conversations about expanding our family have become more difficult. Our hearts ache and tears have flowed for hours.
We hope you can help us clear this last hurdle. We understand that times are tough, and money is tight, but any small amount would help.

We appreciate you taking the time to read our story
