Campaign Story

My name is Amanda and I have been diagnosed with PCOS as well as uterine fibroids. I have tried with my partner to conceive naturally over the course of the last 10 years with no assistance medically wise. I work as a home health aide for a conservatorship which doesn’t provide health insurance therefore no assistance medically or financially. My partner has three boys of his own which helps fill my void of not having any children but it’s still as everyone knows it’s not the same. My parents have both passed away it was a last five years which makes it hard to feel as if I really have any family outside of my partner and his children without them I don’t know what I would do. I am so thankful that I have him and those boys to keep me going Otherwise after losing my parents I don’t know where I would be if I didn’t have them I still struggle some days to not feel like an orphan everybody needs their parents in life and yes we as children are supposed to bury our parents but not before they’re 50 years old it just isn’t right I still need them daily but I just talk to them as if they were here and I can feel their hugs and love. That will always stay with me it would mean so much to me to have a child of my own I have always wanted one I never imagined I would struggle to conceive growing up now it just breaks my heart every month I get my period it’s just a let down yet We still continue trying. I’m just beginning to lose hope if I don’t have any assistance I don’t believe I will be able to conceive, or ever have a child of our own. I would greatly appreciate any kind of assistance that anybody could offer, even if it is just words of advice. Thank you so much everybody, have a blessed day.
