Campaign Story

We are the Hernandez family, I have “unexplained infertility” and we have tried every avenue possible. We tried for 8 years in the United States to have our baby, after 8 years, 7 IUIs and 1 miscarriage… We crossed the border to Mexico to a highly recommended fertility specialist, we had our 8th medicated IUI, which sadly ended in our second miscarriage. We had our 9th IUI with the same doctor, and it brought us our sweet rainbow baby girl. We almost lost her during pregnancy and I was put on bed rest. She’s begging for a sibling, we started the process again two years ago, we have had 6 more IUIS and one round of IVF and we have lost 5 more pregnancies in the process. The last pregnancy, we lost two babies. We have only 5 embryos left and we are ready to try again with another transfer. I’m a teacher, so we decided to wait until summer for this transfer so that I can just rest following my procedure. Our sweet rainbow girl REALLY felt the last pregnancy we lost, she told me I was pregnant before I even knew for sure, she stood with us in our wedding, then she watched my daddy, her “pop pop” pass away. She’s had nothing but loss for the last year, we all have. I would love noting more than to bring new life and joy into our world and to see our baby girl get to finally be a big sister. ❤️ Thank you for considering our journey.
