Campaign Story

Thank you for being here!! My name is Kristen and while our journey is different than most, please take the time to read through!

We have been blessed with 3 amazing little boys. We have also been through the heartache of loosing 4 precious babies before we got to meet them.

After my last baby in May of 2022, my tubes were tied. I did NOT want my tubes tied. My husband and I were VERY adamant that I did not want them tied. It was suggested by the doctor several times throughout my pregnancy and labor, for no reason other than “this your third baby, don’t you think you should be done now?” I had no health concerns or pregnancy complications that would warrant getting my tubes tied.

I ended up having to have a c-section. I had been laboring for a few hours now and I was exhausted. Not even a minute after my husband was sent out of the room, some papers were shoved in my face and I was told I needed to sign them. I was not coherent at this point. I was not in the place to be signing anything, they knew that. Once I woke up from the c-section, I found out my tubes had been tied because I signed the consent form – the papers that had been shoved in my face right before the c-section. We were furious and attempted to take legal action, but because the papers were signed, we were told there is nothing we can do.

We have been praying about this for over 2 years and we have been looking into all of our options. We have decided that getting a tubal reversal surgery is our best option. It is the most affordable and we would, hopefully, not have to continue multiple cycles of IVF that we cannot afford.
