Hey! We are Justice & Raigan. We love life! You can find us going on adventures, spending quality time with our family and friends, and doing things that we are passionate about.

It has been a painful season of loss and tragedy since February for us. We were faced with an ectopic pregnancy in February and March. Our last ectopic resulted in internal bleeding, nearly losing my life. After having both fallopian tubes removed and a massive blood transfusion, we’ve been on the road to recovery. Up until recently my husband and I kept our struggles private. I’m not really sure of the exact reason why but probably similar to why many others keep quiet. The emotional rollercoaster that goes along with infertility does not just impact the couple but the family and close friends who are along for the ride. It’s a sadness like no other. It’s a complete loss of control and sense of self. Shame, doubt, guilt, have become all too common. There are no words that can accurately describe how it feels to want to be parents and not be able to conceive a child.

With these diagnoses in hand, our only option is IVF. Unfortunately, we live in a state where insurance is not mandated to provide any infertility treatment coverage and we will have to pay completely out-of-pocket. Our current quote for IVF with genetic testing of the embryo is roughly $20,000 for a single cycle — which is likely to work but not guaranteed to do so. Justice and I are in the process of considering our options and preparing for our first IVF cycle.

Infertility has been the most difficult obstacle we have ever faced — it is all consuming to every facet of our life, it is the heartbreak that happens month after month, and it is — until today — the silent war we’ve been fighting alone. When the puzzle is completed, it will be placed in our baby’s nursery as a reminder of all the love and support. Your donation is processed through a secure website and all donations will go to the IVF medications and procedures.
