Campaign Story

Hi, my name is Vanqualia, people mainly call me Van. I have PCOS and recently diagnosed with Graves disease for the past 6 years. My husband and I have had 2 miscarriages and 1 preterm loss. Every IUI treatment has become more stressful, anxious, and depressing. I am almost to that 35 mark in age and beginning to get more discouraged that I will not birth my own children. I have tried countless remedies and treatments, from diet plans to weight loss meds. Having PCOS and not being able to lose weight is depressing. PCOS, if you are not aware, is when you don’t have regular cycles, and in my case, it causes me not to ovulate. We are at a point where buying a home has been placed last on our goal list due to our desperate desire to have children. We believe our funds are most needed for fertility treatments. I am convinced that IVF will be my next and only option to conceive. While my medical insurance covers my IUIs, it doesn’t cover IVF. Asking for help to be able to afford IVF.
