The story of us, written by our sister in law.
Quinicka Bryant-Ghant and Larry Ghant are not just a couple; they are a testament to the power of love, resilience, and unwavering determination. Their story, one that spans over decades, is a beautiful narrative of love found, lost, and rediscovered, culminating in a shared dream of starting a family.

Their journey began in the halls of high school, where they were introduced to each other as teenagers. As fate would have it, their connection was instant, and they quickly became high school sweethearts, sharing dreams of a future together. However, life had its twists and turns, leading them down separate paths as they navigated the challenges of adulthood.

Despite the passage of time and the distance that separated them, their love never truly faded. In a serendipitous twist of fate, they found each other again as adults, reigniting the flame that had burned brightly in their youth. Their reunion was nothing short of magical, and they knew that they were destined to be together.

In January of 2020, surrounded by loved ones, Quinicka and Larry exchanged vows and committed their lives to each other in a beautiful ceremony that marked the beginning of their journey as husband and wife. Yet, their union was not complete; there was one dream that remained unfulfilled—a dream that had been the driving force behind their love story from the very beginning.

For Quinicka, the dream of becoming a mother had always been at the forefront of her heart. It was a dream she held onto dearly, despite the challenges and obstacles that stood in her way. She spends her days dotting on the children at the Autism Center she works at and teaching the children in Sunday school. Larry, as the oldest of four boys, took on a fatherly role to his younger brothers while his father was away in the Army. Together, Quinicka and Larry embarked on a journey to make this dream a reality, facing each hurdle with unwavering love and determination.

Their journey to parenthood has not been without its challenges. Since July of 2021, Quinicka and Larry have been navigating the often-tumultuous waters of fertility treatments, hoping, and praying for the miracle they so desperately desire. Yet, despite the setbacks and disappointments, their resolve remains unshaken, fueled by their deep love for each other and their shared dream of building a family.

Now, as they stand on the threshold of a new chapter in their lives, Quinicka and Larry are filled with hope and excitement for what the future holds. With the support of an IVF grant, they are one step closer to realizing their dream of becoming parents—a dream that has sustained them through the darkest of times and has only grown stronger with each passing day.

Their story is a testament to the power of love, resilience, and unwavering determination. It is a story of two souls who refused to give up on each other or on their dreams, no matter the odds.
