Hi there! I’m Michel’le and my husband is Matthew. We have been married almost 5 years now and we have been trying to conceive throughout our marriage.

We have undergone 2 fertility treatments now. We had our first transfer December 17, 2024 and found out Christmas morning that our first transfer was not successful. We immediately wanted to try again and did another cycle, this time transferring two embryos on February 10, 2025. We thought for sure this time would be successful but unfortunately it was not.

I work as a flight attendant and the company I work for filed bankruptcy and laid off hundreds of pilots. In an effort to not do the same for flight attendants they asked volunteers to take a year off. We were going into the first treatment optimistic and since it would be high risk pregnancy and with the way things have been recently in aviation we thought it would be best for me to take the leave. So we are down to one source of income which initially wasn’t a problem but the thing with infertility is there is a lot of uncertainty.

Our insurance does not cover fertility treatments so we have had to pay out of pocket for treatments, medication, travel expenses, etc. Each fertility treatment costs thousands of dollars each time and since the last two have been unsuccessful we have to change our protocol and undergo more testing and see what our steps are. For my birthday this year I am asking for your assistance in donating to help us get closer to our dream of parenthood.
