Campaign Story

Hi there! I’m Michel’le and my husband is Matthew. We’ve been married almost five wonderful years, and throughout our marriage we’ve been on the journey of trying to grow our family.

Our first embryo transfer was on December 17, 2024 on Christmas morning we learned it was unsuccessful. With hope in our hearts, we tried again and transferred two embryos on February 10, 2025. Most recently, on May 8, 2025— a date especially meaningful to me as it’s my Aunt Desseree’s heavenly birthday— we went through our third transfer.

I work as a flight attendant and the company I work for laid off hundreds of pilots. In an effort to not do the same for flight attendants they asked volunteers to take a year off. We were going into the first treatment optimistic and since it would be high risk pregnancy we thought it would be best for me to take the leave. So we are down to one source of income which initially wasn’t a problem but the thing with infertility is there is a lot of uncertainty.

Our insurance does not cover fertility treatments so we have had to pay out of pocket for treatments, medication, travel expenses, etc. Unfortunately each fertility treatment costs thousands of dollars each time. With faith and determination, we are preparing for another round of fertility treatment. With your support, we remain hopeful that this next step will bring us closer to our dream of becoming parents.
