Hi my name is Sabrina and my husband’s name is Kent. We have been together for 9 years now. We recently just got married in September. Our fertility journey begins back in June of 2022. Like all couples that’s trying to have a baby they are face with all kind of challenges . I never knew how difficult it was to have a baby. The beginning of our TTC journey I was very optimistic, I started taking my prenatal, working out, eating healthier and tracking my ovulation days with testing strips two three times a day and tons of researching. After a one year of trying and I was still getting a negative test I was feeling pretty discourage and emotional I started self doubting. Meanwhile everyone around me were are all having their first and second babies and constantly asking if I was pregnant yet. I couldn’t help but feel a sense of heartache. Me and my husband started getting every test done; semen analysis, blood work, pelvic ultrasounds, HSG, and SIS. I was diagnosed with Diminished Ovarian Reserve(women with low quantities of eggs in their ovaries) which is causing my infertility. The doctor at the fertility center said I would need IVF soon if I want to have kids, because the quantity of eggs goes down every menstrual cycle. There is a lot of heartache and tears in this community💔 Our family does not know this is the route we are taking because they don’t support the idea of IVF besides my mom.
