Campaign Story

Hello, sweet soul! We are Brendan and Anna Cathers, and we are currently raising money to start a family through egg donation. Last fall I (Anna) was diagnosed with premature ovarian failure (POF), which means I went into early menopause and am unable to conceive. This diagnosis was a huge shock to us, as it came suddenly and with very little warning. POF is very rare, in fact it is estimated that only 0.1% of women under 30 are diagnosed with complete ovarian failure. While this was heavy news for us to hear, we look forward with the indelible hope found in Christ and the knowledge that He has a good plan for us. We are praying that God would grant us the joy of parenthood through embryo adoption. This decision has not been a light one for us, as we prayerfully considered each of the many options available to us. As we prayed, God continually gave us tangible peace regarding the adoption. We are secure in His purpose for us, whatever that may look like in the coming months and years. Would you aid us in prayer and perhaps financially in our journey?
