Campaign Story

My name is Myrissa, and my wife’s name is Angelica. We met each other nearly 8 years ago and knew we were meant for one another. We began our journey to building a family early this year and realized the challenges that are ahead of us. My wife, the one who will be carrying our future child, was diagnosed with one kidney and PCOS last year. This diagnosis added an additional challenge to building our family. The fertility costs of IUI and medical treatment is a large cost in it’s own but with Angelica being diagnosed with PCOS, it is hard to determine her ovulation stage and comes with additional medication to induce ovulation as well as blood work. In addition, being that she has one kidney comes with increased pregnancy risks. We are currently on our second round of IUI. It is both our dream to become parents. We are currently putting every penny we have into our fertility journey and could really use your help. We are determined to have a success story through IUI or IVF.
