Campaign Story

As some of you may know, I have been struggling with infertility for years. I have wanted to be a mom my entire life. In fact, being a mom has been the only thing I have been completely certain of in life. I am blessed with 2 wonderful bonus children, and love them more than anything. All that I am missing is the experience of carrying and nurturing during the little years. We have been trying for going on 5 years now, and have been through 4 rounds of unsuccessful IUI treatments. Our next step is IVF.

Washington state does not require insurance companies to cover anything infertility related, so even simple blood hormone tests that would be covered by insurance for other medical reasons, are not covered for infertility.

Asking for donations is an extremely uncomfortable thing for me to do, but IVF is really expensive. I already have 2 jobs currently and have started applying for a 3rd to help me save up for treatments, so anything donated towards this fund would be very much appreciated by us for this long and difficult journey.
