Campaign Story

Our story began almost 13 years ago when Corey and I met through a mutual friend and became fast friends. Three years later that  friendship grew into a relationship and in 2021 a loving marriage. We both dream of being parents and raising a family together. I was diagnosed very early on in life with a metabolic disease that affects only 2,000 people worldwide. A disease that requires a lifetime of medication and led to a lot of difficult times, including 2 kidney transplants and Corey and I spending 9 months apart and postponing our wedding twice during the height of the pandemic. Now we are facing another great challenge. After consulting many doctors and specialists, I learned because of my disease and medical past I cannot carry a child without endangering my and the baby’s life. So we’ve turned to surrogacy with hopes we can make our dreams a reality. It’s an expensive process, and we humbly ask for your support.
