Campaign Story

My name is Malintzin, and my husband is Victor. Together, we are asking for support as we pursue IVF in hopes of growing our family.

I am already blessed to be a mother to three incredible children. Two were born before I met my husband, and one came into my life through an adoption journey that I began on my own before Victor and I married. Being a mother has been one of the greatest joys of my life, and it has only deepened my appreciation for the love and connection that family brings.

When Victor and I began building our life together, we dreamed of having a child of our own. We were hopeful and excited for the future, but our journey has been filled with heartbreak. Although I have been able to become pregnant, we have experienced pregnancy losses that have left us grieving while continuing to search for answers.

As a United States Navy veteran, I have faced many challenges throughout my life and career. This journey has required a different kind of strength, one built on patience, faith, and perseverance. After extensive testing and consultations with medical professionals, IVF has become our best opportunity to achieve a healthy pregnancy and welcome a child into our family.

Unfortunately, fertility treatments and IVF are incredibly expensive, and many of the costs are not fully covered by insurance. We are raising funds to help cover treatment, medications, monitoring appointments, and other medical expenses associated with IVF.

This fundraiser is not just about a medical procedure. It is about hope. It is about overcoming loss. It is about giving Victor and me the opportunity to share the experience of bringing a child into the world together and expanding the family we love so deeply.
