Campaign Story

Hello, my name is Ashley, my husband Dylan and I have been on a road of infertility now for almost 4 years.
After 4 failed medicated cycles, 2 trigger shots, sperm testing, an exploratory surgery and a few biopsies the only notable diagnosis given to my husband and I was my severe PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome – a hormonal disorder causing enlarged ovaries with small cysts on the outer edges). My PCOS had lead to a very difficult road to conceive as well as a very pricy path.
Unfortunately, neither Dylan’s insurance or my own has any infertility coverage. Last year alone we drained our lifetime savings and spent over $65k out of pocket for infertility treatments. Sadly, this head left us with no savings account to further our infertility process.
My dream is to become a mom, and without any reasons other than me having PCOS, I should be able to conceive and carry a full term pregnancy with ease! With that being said, I’m turning 26 this year; and although that may sound young to most, for someone with PCOS struggling with infertility it is truly terrifying. With PCOS the doctors have giving me an age limit of 30 being the latest my eggs will most likely be viable.
We are on the final steps to our infertility journey and we are going strong this last and final round of treatment with IVF! With the phrase “IVF” everyone is immediately somewhat aware of the physical and financial toll IVF takes on a family.
Dylan and I both have great jobs, and we are set to raise a family of our own one day, we just need some help getting started on our next “bump” in our journey.
We are doing the last thing we ever expected to do and that is asking for help. We have been praying for a miracle and we are well aware that sometimes we need to allow others in – so this is it, this is us inviting the world in on our “little secret” or otherwise know as our secret battle. This is us praying for a miracle and asking for help to continue our journey. We are almost to the finish line now🫶🏼
