Campaign Story

Hi my name is Brooke, I am 24 and was recently diagnosed with borderline ovarian cancer. This has been a long journey for us. From having no answers to why I was having such bad pains and not conceiving, to being diagnosed with endometriosis only to find out after waking up for surgery that it was actually borderline ovarian cancer and I had lost one ovary and tube while under and going to lose the next all before my 25th birthday. It has been an emotional and stressful situation but my husband and I are hopeful and have all the faith our God will help us in these tough times. The cost in such a short time is tremendous for my husband and I alone and we are really wanting to freeze some embryos before having the second ovary removed to have a chance of one day in the future being able to use them for ivf. We would be so thankful for any donations in these circumstances, our insurance covers 0% of IVF and payment plans are not an option for medication and egg retrieval. Without the funding by mid January or February we will have no option but to chose surgery and never having a chance of a biological child or risk the cancer coming back and spreading to other organs preventing pregnancy permanently.
