Campaign Story

My name is Kianna, and together with my husband and our sweet 7-year-old daughter, we make up the Walker family. Our hearts are full of love, but there’s always been a little extra room in our home—and in our lives—for one more. For the past six years, we’ve been holding onto the hope of growing our family, but our journey has been marked by challenges we never expected.

Infertility has been a quiet, painful companion through these years. It’s brought moments of deep sadness, multiple surgeries, and a kind of emotional weight that’s hard to put into words. One of the most tender—and toughest—parts of this journey happens at bedtime, when our daughter closes her eyes and prays for a baby brother or sister. When she looks up and asks, “Mommy, why won’t God answer my prayer?” it breaks my heart in a way nothing else ever has. Time is moving forward, and with each passing month, I feel a growing urgency to make her wish—and our family’s dream—come true.

We’ve come so far, and now we’re at a place where IVF offers real hope. But the medications I need to prepare my body for the transfer come with a significant cost—about $8,000—that we simply can’t cover on our own.
