Campaign Story

We are Brittany + Ryan Gevaza. We are fundraising for our future family! After 4 miscarriages and a diagnosis of unexplained infertility, we decided to explore our options. The thing we quickly discovered was that our “options” came with a price tag.

If we could make our dream of bringing one sweet baby into this world a reality, we would be over the moon.

After reviewing the myriad of paths there are to becoming a family, we landed on gestation surrogacy. This babe will have our DNA, but due to my issues with miscarriage and the sheer exhaustion from what feels like repeated failure, we have taken a dear friend up on their offer to carry our baby.

We are mentally preparing for the significant cost of this decision: from IVF treatments for both myself and our friend, to the cost of maternity care (with and/or without insurance) and any other needs she may have along the way, in addition to legal fees to protect all of us on this journey. Our goal is to not take on debt as we progress through this if at all possible.

Ryan would make an incredible father. He is the most gentle and doting person I’ve ever met. He makes me better in every way. He brings calm when others might bring chaos. He has helped me believe in the kind of mother I can be.
