Campaign Story

My name is Christine. For years, my husband and I have answered the call to serve our small village as volunteer first responders, with my husband also serving as fire chief. Since I was 18, I’ve found purpose in being there for our community during their most difficult times. Now, we’re facing one of our own.

Our journey to become parents has been a path of heartbreak and resilience. It began with a devastating miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy in 2024. Tests revealed my tubes were blocked, and surgery last June uncovered and removed scar tissue from endometriosis. We had hoped that was the turning point, but recently we received the crushing news that the endometriosis has returned, now at Stage 4. After all we’ve endured, our doctor has told us that IVF is our only chance to have the baby we dream of.

While we both work full-time—I’m a CMA and my husband is a truck driver—the financial reality is overwhelming. Neither of our insurance plans cover a single dollar of IVF treatment. The cost is simply more than we can manage on our own after the medical expenses we’ve already faced.

We are humbly asking for your support to help fund this IVF cycle. Every contribution brings us closer to holding our child in our arms. We’ve spent our lives helping others; it is with vulnerable hearts that we now ask for help to build our own family.
