My name is Jessica and I am 33 years old. In 2015 after having my youngest son, I decided to have a tubal ligation procedure done due to being in a highly toxic and abusive relationship with my son’s biological father. I was 24 years old and at that time did not see myself leaving him because I did not have the strength to leave him and I was afraid. In April of that year I had had enough of the abuse and finally got the strength to go and almost ended up choked to death before his dad got there to pick him up. After that I was still comfortable in my decision that I made to get my tunes tied because I wanted to be by myself and focus on me and my kids. It stayed me and my kiddos for years until 2019 when I met my now husband. We have been together for 5 years and will be married for 4 this July.

I am starting this fundraiser because me and my husband have been talking about wanting to have a baby together and add an additional member to our little family by getting a tubal reversal. The total cost for the reversal is 8,500 and I would need to travel out of state and stay a total of 3 days. Having this procedure done would mean the world to my family. I have such guilt about getting my tubes tied now and I have been feeling really depressed especially when I start my monthly cycle.
