My name is Brittany and I have endometriosis. Commonly referred to as Endo. For those who may not know endo is a health condition in woman where tissues grow outside of the uterus, causing pain and often infertility. According to the World Health Organization, endometriosis affects around 10% of women globally. In the United States, it’s estimated that 1 in 9 women have endometriosis. My partner Eddie and I met in 2014 and in 2019 we took our relationship to the next level. For the past 5 years we have tried to get pregnant and have been unsuccessful due to the endometriosis. After going to a fertility specialist I found out our only option would be IVF- Invitro Fertilization. The treatment for IVF in Ohio could be anywhere from $10,000-$14,000 and that does not include medications. We are seeking assistance to help us with the financial burden for IVF treatment. Anything can help even if its $5, it would mean the world to us and we will be forever grateful for helping us fight for a future family.
