Campaign Story

Hello,

My name is Elizabeth and in the picture is my husband, Fredy. On May 11, 2020, we tragically lost our babygirl, Leah. I was 20 weeks pregnant and almost lost my life in the process of delivering her. I was incubated for a few days fighting for my life. In the midst of all that, in order to save my life they removed my uterus. They did not remove my ovaries, thankfully. My husband and I are in the process of starting my egg retrieval process in hopes of one day having a child of our own. I am unable to carry a child therefore, starting with removing my eggs and creating embryos would begin our hopeful journey of becoming parents one day. A dear friend has agreed to carry our embryo if everything goes well. My medical insurance does not cover any one these services and we will be responsible to pay for it from our own pockets and it is very expensive. We are asking for any help, even small. What happened to us was devastating and we miss our babygirl everyday. We long to be parents one more time❤️
