Campaign Story
I met Christine in 2017 when she started working with KSP. She and I were side by side for 12 weeks during a grueling training session that ended up being a start to a wonderful friendship. Not only would she end up being one of my favorite coworkers; she is one of my dearest friends.
Chrissie is a once in a lifetime catch, an incredibly beautiful soul, and the most phenomenal woman anyone could ever have the privilege of crossing paths with. The first time I met Ben, her boyfriend at the time, but now Christine’s husband, it was obvious to everyone that the two were meant for one another. Ben is patient, kindhearted, loyal, and an all around remarkable human being.
Christine and Ben met online in 2017 and began dating shortly after in 2018. The couple made forever plans and became engaged in 2019. After rescheduling twice due to covid, Ben and Chrissie tied the knot in 2020 becoming Mr. & Mrs. Evans!
Chrissie and Ben decided right away grow their family. Bringing the precious gift of a child would be their next great adventure! Years before, in 2011, Christine was diagnosed with PCOS but didnโt anticipate the struggles she and her future husband would endure. In addition, being an โolder and wiserโ couple means there is no better time than now! With biological time clocks in mind, and Christineโs history of PCOS, there would be challenges ahead but were ready to embark on the journey of becoming parents together.
Of course, as life does, other obstacles and events would fill their first 2.5 years of marriage. After a beautiful wedding and an exciting leap into forever together, life has really come full force with challenges. Their home was greatly damaged in the 2021 hurricane, just in time for the homeownersโ insurance to go belly up and leave many families in desperate times. Though extremely time-consuming and difficult, the home repair process moved forward. Just as the couple could see the light at the end of the tunnel, surprise, the contractors filed bankruptcy.
All the while, the same 2 years, they were trying to become pregnant naturally, completed 3 rounds of OI treatment, multiple tests, and analysis. Unfortunately, all routes were showing no success. Christine and Ben met with a fertility doctor and explored additional options available to them. The HSG test results showed both of Christineโs fallopian tubes were blocked and the procedures attempted were unsuccessful in having them flushed. The only option possible moving forward is IVF.
Through it all, Christine and Ben have carried with them grace, love, and compassion. Their mindset is to never give up and continue to trust Gods plan.
โPray for the desires of your heart, but be open to His will for your life.โ
As the financial burdens pile up on the renovation catastrophe tally and in addition to the supreme cost of fertility treatment and IVF path, they still arenโt willing to allow their dreams of a family of their own to be diminished. Neither are we.
I can say with absolute confidence that there are no two more deserving humans on this planet that deserve the support and help from the people that love them (and anyone who just has a spark in their hearts to help others).
From our hearts, her friends and family, we ask of you to please help us support Christine and Ben Evans in their IVF journey.
Most importantly, PRAY with us as the Evans navigate this next chapter.
