Campaign Story

Hi there! My name is Ruairi Criswell Kuiper. My spouse Atlas and I have been making moves towards having a baby for quite a while now. We are both trans people, so need the help of a sperm donor and fertility treatments to concieve. We had a couple of cycles with a known donor, suffered an early miscarriage during that time. After moving to Vermont, we are pursuing treatment through a local clinic, using a sperm bank and IUI!

We need the support of our community to make this dream of parenthood a reality. Between the costs of preconception testing, donor sperm, and treatment we are looking at thousands of dollars. Every little bit helps bring us closer to being parents! Our first goal is 1000$ for our first two vials of sperm, as well as the admin fees associated with purchasing and then shipping said sperm. Our goal for that is to have it by October when we hope to FINALLY undergo our first cycle with UVM’s Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility team.
