Campaign Story

Hey! My name is Emilie Newsom. My husbands name is Austin. We are a young couple in our early twenties who have been actively trying to conceive for going on two years. I am a nurse, my husband works for the Arkansas state highway department. We live on a small family farm in rural Arkansas and love to travel. We would love to travel even more with a little one! We have unexplained fertility and have been seeing my regular OBGYN since October of last year. We have tried five rounds of fertility drugs to help my body ovulate since it does not ovulate on its own. Austin has had semen analysis and we have done inseminations/HCG trigger shots with no luck. We completed an HSG procedure to determine the status of my Fallopian tubes, which was normal. Austin and I have spent over $5000 in the last 7-8 months on fertility treatments with no answers, and no success. We are now seeing a specialized fertility clinic, where we will be potentially facing IVF treatment. IVF can cost upwards of $20,000. This has been a long and exhausting road for us but we have had a lifelong dream of being parents, and anything to help get us successful in that journey will be appreciated.
