Campaign Story

My name is Kalyn Harris and my fertility story begins with the misleading of woman of color, I have been told that having children is a burden in the black community so after already having 2 with previous partners I was ushered to close my tubes and told by doctors that “2 is enough” without even knowing my situation, and how those partners abused and used me. Then God gave me mercy when I met my 2nd husband that I never dreamed would be perfect for father hood and now due to tubal ligation that was forced and beat into my head, I cannot conceive naturally. I would like the help to show woman of color and to show nay sayers that children are indeed a Gift from Gid and no one should be able to stop that or make someone feel wrong for wanting that beautiful gift with some they care about.
