Campaign Story

Our names are Karter and Jennifer and we want to take a moment to share a bit about who we are and why we’re here.

We’re a hard working couple who have always believed in building a stable, meaningful life – both for ourselves and the people around us. Like many, we always imagined that starting a family would be a natural next step. What we didn’t expect was that our path to get there would require medical support from the very beginning.

Over time, we’ve done everything we can to prepare responsibly. We’ve balanced full-time work, financial commitments, and long-term planning, all while trying to make this dream possible on our own. Where we live, there is some financial support available, but it comes only after treatment is fully paid upfront, which creates a significant barrier for us.

We are also working within a very limited window to begin treatment, which makes accessing funding within the next cycle especially important for us. We have only one clinic in 500 miles and today, we were told that the waitlist is so long that anyone that hasn’t started by a certain time will have to be dropped.

That is why we’re reaching out now.

The fundraiser isn’t about avoiding responsibility-it’s about asking for help to help bridge a gap we cannot close alone in time. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps bring us closer to the chance to start our family.

More than anything, this means hope for us. It means moving forward instead of waiting. It means turning years of planning into something real.
