Campaign Story

We are the Arvizu family. About 5 years ago, we found out that we were unable to have children naturally. We decided to try IVF and, against all odds we got pregnant on the first round. This lead to our beautiful son. We are overjoyed to have him, but really don’t want him to be an only child.

We had frozen embryos stored. We attempted IVF with three additional embryos, but sadly each attempt ended in a miscarriage at about 8 weeks. We are considering adopting, but want to try one more round of IVF. A fresh embryo transfer worked for getting our son, so we want to try one last time.

As many people know, IVF is very expensive and not covered in any way by insurance. We have lived on a tight budget to afford these fertility treatments. Our next round will be about $12,000 for the process and $3500 for the medications.
