Campaign Story

Hello, we are Harinder and Amandeep and we would like to share story of our life with you. We have been childhood friends since we were probably 6-7 years old. We have so many amazing bitter and sweet childhood memories of friendships and fights. Time changes and we both went ahead pursuing our lives. Then all of a sudden, we were all grown up and came into contact with each other once again and now, we have been married for more than 11 years.

Just like any other couple, we were hoping to start our family together and have kids. We were hoping that we will have this beautiful life experience of carrying our babies and create an non-detatchable bond with them. Watch them grow, taking their first baby steps when they start walking. Take them out in nature, go camping, story telling, playing sports and doing all the fun stuff they will enjoy.

We started trying actively, took doctor’s consultations, medications required to regulate our bodies but after years and years of struggle, we got no positive results. Then finally the only hope was to go through IVF treatment. We were very optimistic as doctor’s gave us so much confidence that this pathway is the best option for us to make our dreams come true. In beginnig of 2022, We started the procedure and went through every step of the IVF journey.

Then the day came when we were supposed to perform a pregnancy check. With shivering hands being extremely nervous, I performed at home pregnancy test. We couldn’t believe our eyes as the test came positive. We couldn’t thank God and doctors enough who made it possible for us to see this day. Increasing levels of HCG made it clear that we were pregnant.

It was week 5 and that night came when in middle of night, for some reason I just didn’t want to go to the restroom. There was some unknown fear holding me back to not to go pee but I had to. My fear came to reality and we lost our baby. We wish that no expecting mother in this world should go through this heart breaking moment when your dream just shatters in a jiffy.

I still have this never ending hope of carrying my child in my womb being mother of our beautiful children. As we are a hard working middle class family, cost of going through IVF again is being the biggest hurdle in our journey so we are requesting you all to send us your blessings.
