Hello, my name is Ebony, and I am a 36 year old woman who wants nothing more than to be the best mother I can be, and give my mother the grandchild she can’t wait to love on. All I’ve ever wanted is 1 child. 1 sweet baby of my own to devote my love, undivided attention, and care to. Women who want to be mothers dream of that day from the time they’re little girls. Nobody ever grows up thinking they’ll have problems becoming the mother they’ve always dreamed of being.

After years of heartbreak, pain, and emergency surgeries; it seems IVF is my last option to have a child. For years I’ve experienced the joy and excitement of a positive pregnancy test, thinking of names, imagining what my baby would look and be like, only to be hit with the crushing blow that the pregnancy is ectopic. The devastation you feel knowing that you have no choice but to terminate a pregnancy that you’ve prayed for is indescribable. To have suffered this same fate not once, not twice, but 3 times resulting in 2 emergency surgeries is absolutely gut wrenching. Having been left with 1 partial fallopian tube and 1 ovary, my last resort, my last hope for conception is taking the journey through IVF. But, the financial burden is too great for me to bare alone.
