Hello I’m 19 year old Jenna. I am currently enrolled at an out of state University about an hour away from my home. I am majoring in social work as well as sociology with an emphasis in criminology.

At 15 my endocrinologist send me to a fertility doctor because I don’t produce many hormones on my own. At this time my mom and I didn’t realize that was why. Looing back now I guess we both were in denial really. 

Two weeks ago my AMH level dropped below one, I was seen rather quickly in the fertility clinic again. I was told that I would never be able to concieve a baby on my own no matter what. Since my AMH has dropped so low they advised that I go ahead with egg retrieval and freezing sooner than later.

While the decision wasn’t easy I have finally deciced to go throught with the procedure. I am on my dad’s insurance and it doesn’t cover any type of fertility treatments.

Which brings me to here seeking help. My family and I have already started the process of fundraisning locally here at home. However, we live in a very small rural area and we need to raise a significant amount of money. I am unsure that we make what we need to hit our goal. The doctor’s office advised me on Friday that I would need $10,000-12,000.

I live approximately 4 hours from the clinic, once the process starts I will need to be local to the office. My mom will accompany me and it’s our best guess is that we will need to stay about seven days for all the monitoring and appts.

I know this is important for most people to have a family of their own I appreciate any and all donations that your heart may deem necessary.
