Campaign Story
Please be a part of our village of support on our IVF Journey, and help us reach our goal. 💙
I am Hannah Dorsey, and my husband is Allen. We have been trying to add a baby to our family for nearly 6 years, without success. I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, more commonly known as PCOS. Allen also has decreased fertility. The combination of our issues has made it nearly impossible to conceive naturally. Allen is a bit older than I, and it has made me feel awful that the years have continued to pass, and I’ve not been able to give him the children he and I so desperately would love to have.
After several attempts over the years with medications, IVF is going to be our only chance at reaching the dream of having our own baby. We are on this journey with IVF Michigan & Ohio Fertility Center. This costs over $30,000 out of pocket. Unfortunately, insurance does not cover any part of this cost, which adds to the already overwhelming mental and physical stress of infertility.
We know nearly everyone is struggling to afford the cost of living these days. I regret to even be asking for help, but any amount able to be given would be so greatly appreciated.

Feeling Grateful
Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far! We have an appointment on the 29th. I will try to post updates over the next months as things progress. We are beyond grateful for the amazing people we have in our lives. This process can be so stressful, but having such great support brings comfort.

Rough Patch ❤️🩹
Our journey is hopefully back on track after some complications from my egg retrieval procedure two weeks ago. After the procedure, I developed Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome. This caused fluid to accumulate in my abdomen, and then in my lungs. Because of this, I had to go back for another procedure to remove the fluid from my abdomen and then had a short hospital stay. Now, we are left with even more medical bills.
We are currently waiting to hear back if we have any embryos that tested normal. 🙏🏼 Due to the complications I had, our embryo transfer has been postponed until next month.
