Campaign Story

My name is Brian, and my wife and I are navigating infertility issues after having tried for the last 5 years. Genetic testing led us to discover a genetic mutation with a 50-50 chance of passing it on through mitochondrial DNA. In a way, it was a blessing in disguise that our journey has been delayed, which led us to our last chance through IVF with the help of PGT. This process will help ensure that a child does not carry this condition on to future generations.

We are both creative souls with backgrounds in the arts and have a deep appreciation for adventure and the outdoors. As a teacher for more than a decade, I have had the privilege of working with hundreds of students and families. This is our final chance to grow our own family before our window closes.
