❤️ Help Cameron & Kianna Grow Their Family Through Surrogacy ❤️

Cameron and Kianna have walked an incredible, emotional, and often heartbreaking path on their journey to becoming parents. Their story began with the early arrival of their daughter, Bannin, who was born at 30 weeks, weighing 2 lbs 9 oz, due to life-threatening preeclampsia. After nearly two months in the NICU, she grew into the bright, imaginative, beautiful 4-year-old she is today.

Earlier this year, their family was filled with hope once again when Kianna learned she was pregnant. After safely making it through the first trimester, they began dreaming about their baby boy. Even little Bannin excitedly talked about becoming a big sister.

In September, everything changed suddenly. Kianna was flown to Billings as her blood pressure reached dangerously high levels—a sign that preeclampsia had returned. Doctors closely monitored both her and the baby until, on September 13th, they made the difficult decision to perform an emergency C-section. Their son, Calder Crewe Erickson, was born at 27 weeks, weighing 2 lbs 7 oz. Though tiny, he was incredibly strong and loved beyond measure from the moment he arrived.

Tragically, Calder developed an infection, and on September 20th, he passed away in the loving arms of his parents. This loss has been devastating, and Cameron and Kianna are now learning how to navigate life while carrying both grief and hope.

After Calder’s passing, Kianna received heartbreaking medical guidance: carrying another pregnancy is not safe, as she is at high risk of developing preeclampsia even earlier than she did with Calder—potentially before 25 weeks. In the days and weeks that followed, many asked what they could do to support the family. With time, reflection, and an outpouring of encouragement, Cameron and Kianna found clarity in the path ahead.

They are now pursuing surrogacy—their best and safest chance to grow their family.

With the support of their doctors, they have already taken meaningful steps forward and have an egg retrieval scheduled for early January. In what feels like a true blessing, an incredibly generous gestational carrier—one of the nurses who cared for Calder in the NICU—has stepped forward to help them bring another child into the world. Her compassion, strength, and connection to Calder have brought profound comfort and hope to this new chapter.

Surrogacy is a beautiful journey, but it is also incredibly expensive, placing a significant financial strain on a family still healing from unimaginable loss.
