Campaign Story

My name is Lydia, I like to start off by Thanking you for taking the time to read my story- I know we all have busy hectic schedules and lifes that demand our attention 24/7 so I appreciate the time your taking to get to know me. I am 34 my condition is PCOS Polycystic ovary syndrome to start followed up with Endometriosis I have struggled with this since I was 16 when they first found a cist on my overie. This brought on a biopsy (very painful) to find out if it was cancerous – thank goodness it was not. All though I had no idea at that age what ALL this entailed it brought on painful periods, sometimes missing periods for months at a time this made it very hard to track any type of cycle they tried putting me on birth control to control my periods several different kinds-some making me gain more weight (which was already a problem of mine) I recall as I got older wanting a baby and so I got off the birth control. The doctors said this could be hard with my diagnosis. I attempted but never being successful always felt like such a let down always getting a negative test result made me feel like such a failure. Why cant I be normal or even like my sister and make a baby? Thats why Im not giving up hope something inside tells me Im supposed to be a mother. IVF is extremely expensive as Im sure your aware. My insurance wont cover it and even working two jobs Im just able to pay my mortgage and necessary expenses.
Ive been in a relationship for two years now and we haven’t had any great luck Im hoping with your help we can finally have the chance we need. He has a daughter from a prior relationship I have been helping to raise and we would love to give her a sibling, please grant our wish. Thank you again for your time, may you be blessed in all your endeavors. xoxo Lydia
