My brother-in-law Alex married his high school sweetheart, Emma, two years ago. From the moment they said, “I do,” they dreamed of starting a family. When Emma found out she was pregnant in early 2024, our entire family was overjoyed—only to have our hearts shattered when she miscarried. Then, it happened again.

Determined to find answers, Emma underwent extensive medical testing. The heartbreaking result? She has a genetic disorder that makes natural conception impossible. IVF is their only option to have a child. But with no insurance coverage and a staggering cost of tens of thousands of dollars, their dream of becoming parents feels just out of reach.

I’ve watched as this journey has taken an emotional and financial toll on them—stress, anxiety, and heartbreak piling up with every obstacle. I’ve searched high and low for grants, but they don’t qualify for any. Loans come with crippling interest rates. But I refuse to let them lose hope.

That’s why I’m asking for your help. Through Gift of Parenthood, we have a chance to lift some of this burden and give Emma and Alex the greatest gift—the chance to become parents. Any amount you can donate will go directly toward their IVF journey, bringing them one step closer to the family they’ve always dreamed of.
